Before the Easter Bunny makes a stop by your home, you’re not going want to miss these local Easter events. There are plenty of choices for your family fun this year. Here are Key to Fine Home’s hand-picked selections:

1. Zionsville Lion’s Club “EGGnormous" Egg Hunt

Kicking off the list is a hunt right here in Zionsville's Lions Park - the EGGnormous Egg Hunt is the Saturday before Easter, which will be March 31, 2018.  The festivities begin at 9:30 AM and the first egg hunt (staggered by age group) starts at 10:30 AM.   Starting at 9:00 AM, they are having a continental breakfast / breakfast burrito (for a donation).

2. 7th Annual Egg Hunt at Clay Terrace

Registration will open on Monday, March 12th at 10:00 AM in the Mall Office and/or Online for the 7th Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Clay Terrace Presented by Goldfish Swim School - Carmel! 3. Easter Egg Splash at the Fishers YMCA

Collecting eggs on land is one thing, but what about in the water? On Saturday the March 31st, you can do both at the Fishers YMCA (weather permitting).  Meet the Easter Bunny and more... crafts, games, bounce house and more in the Family Gym! Guests must pre-register at the link above or call member services.

4. Westfield Church Helicopter Egg Drop

This huge event involves 180+ of volunteers and takes place at Grand Park in Westfield. The eggs for this hunt are dropped by a helicopter and between the two spots totals over 30,000 in number. They've added a new area to the Westfield Easter Egg Drop called "Helping Hands." This will cater to children who cannot independently participate in their age group's egg hunt due to limited mobility or sensory issues. The 8th annual event is happening this year on March 24th.

The registration code for this year’s Easter Egg Drop will go out in the March 13th edition of the Current in Westfield and Current in Carmel Newspapers. Pre-Registration will go LIVE on March 14th at 6:00 AM EDT with open registration on March 16th.

5. Special Egg Event: For Children With Special Needs

This Brownsburg hunt is FREE, takes place at the Well Community Center and features 3 different event times. At 3:00 PM is the Adaptive Egg Hunt where magnetic eggs are picked up with poles. This hunt is perfect for kiddos in wheelchairs or gait trainers. Next at 4:00 PM is the “Sensory Friendly Egg Hunt”, a quiet egg hunt with little stimulation. This hunt is great for kids with autism or sensory processing needs. The festivities round out the event at 5:00 PM with the Family Egg Hunt - best for children who can hunt unassisted but have developmental delays. Siblings can participate in this hunt! Register at the link above.

6. Whitestown Easter Egg Hunt

We end our list with the annual Easter Egg Hunt at the Whitestown Municpal Complex. This event is held on the Saturday before Easter at 10:00 AM, followed by a pancake breakfast and the FREE showing of the movie HOP.  The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures with the kiddos!

Whether you want to stay right here in Zionsville or explore nearby suburbs, there are clearly a lot of options for your Easter festivities this year.  Let us know which event you pick, even if it’s not on this list!
